JRCLS Breakfast at the school

Hello! My husband, Eric Fish, is the President of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society at the school. He wanted me to let everyone know that they are hosting a breakfast at the school the morning of Tuesday Oct 28th. They'll start serving at 8:00 am. This would be a great opportunity to take the family out and let our students brag about their families!

Time and Places for Food Drop Offs

For those of you willing to donate baked goods for our bake sale on Wednesday Oct. 15th, you can either bring them to our Souper Dinner on Tuesday night, or you can drop them off at the sale on Wed. before 12:00 noon. Thank you for your willingness to help!

We need soup and treats!

Hey all, Just an idea that might help get more soups and treats. I live down the street from the school, so if you would like to help out and donate a pot or plate of food but can't get it to the school you can think about dropping it off at my place at your convenience (preferably in a crock pot so I don't have to heat it on the stove) and I'll get it to the school for you! Let me know!

Soup and Dessert Fundraisers

In an effort to help our students get through midterms, we will be hosting a Soup Dinner on Tuesday October 14th at 4:30 pm in the Jury Box.
 $3.50 will buy you a bowl of soup, bread from Panera and a drink. Because this is a fundraiser, we are also looking for volunteers to come help serve or to donate a crock pot of soup of any kind. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please leave a note in the comments section if you can provide soup, or help serve. 
We will also be having a bake sale on Wednesday October 15th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. So be sure to stop by and grab some yummy treats! Leave a note in the comments section if you can donate any baked goods, i.e. breads, cookies, pies, pastries, etc. Thanks!

Smitty's Theatre Postponed

Bad news everyone! Our budget has not been approved yet and we don't know if we'll have funds for our Smitty's Activity in Tilton, NH. So we are postponing the activity untill we know for sure that we have funding from the school's Student Board Association. Sorry for any inconveniences!

A Night Out!

We are happy to announce will be having our first date night on Oct. 11th at 6:00 pm.
Join us for dinner at the Common Man Restaurant located at 25 Water Street in Concord (exit 13 off of interstate 93). 



Come enjoy a night out with your significant other and friends. Please leave a note in the comments section if you are interested in eating with the group so we can get a head count for making reservations. Otherwise you can still come and enjoy a quiet dinner alone together. :)

Welcome New SOSO members!

We met a great bunch of new families and friends at the FPLC family reception during orientation week and we just want to send out a huge "WELCOME"! We hope to see you around campus and at our SOSO events! Our first event is coming up this weekend. Our first Potluck is scheduled for this Saturday the 6th. More details will be posted within the next few days. At this potluck we will be reorganizing the SOSO leadership so if any of you are interested in being nominated for a position send an e-mail to piercelawsoso@gmail.com. Let us know what position you may be interested in :President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer. In the past there has also been a small activities committee for those extra helping hands that may have an interest in participating but don't want leadership responsibilities.

Potlucks/Date Nights

Every 2nd Saturday of each month (although Sept. will be an exception) we will be alternating between potlucks and date nights. The locations of each will be determined closer to the event date. The goals for the potlucks are socialization, making new friends, and a time for kids to play. The goals for the date nights are again meeting new people, getting out to new restaurants, and a break from kids (if you have them!). We hope to see you there!
